Carols by Candlelight in Pyrmont

Join in the Christmas festivities Pyrmont People and go along to Christmas Carols on Friday, 18 December 2009 at 7:00pm. The new venue for carols this year is outside the church on the Corner of Bulwarra Road and Quarry Street in Ultimo. Enjoy this great community event which will feature a special Nativity scene as well as a live donkey.

And down at Darling Harbour, from Thursdays to Sundays in December up until Christmas Eve you can enjoy Christmas Carols by the beautiful Christmas Tree (located in the Convention Centre Forecourt) from some of Sydney’s best ‘a cappella’ groups including Blues Point, The Hollys, Sway and Sorelle. On Saturday, 19 December 2009 and Thursday, 24 December 2009 there will also be an amazing display of fireworks over Cockle Bay at 8:30pm.

Help to support the Starlight Foundation on Saturday, 19 December 2009 by purchasing merchandise from their stall between 6:30pm – 9:30pm. The prices range from $2 to $7 for reindeer antlers, Santa hats, Santa stockings and flashing wands as well as Darling Harbour 21st anniversary cupcakes for a gold coin donation (while stocks last). Plus there will be face painting for the kids.
