Aroma Coffee Festival 2009 The Rocks For Pyrmont Coffee Lovers: The Rocks Aroma Coffee Festival 2009Calling on all Pyrmont coffee lovers! An event not to miss is Aroma 2009 at The Rocks on Sunday, 19 July from 10:00am to 5:00pm. Enjoy sampling from over 20 of Australia’s leading coffee roasters – for only $2 a cup (6oz.). You can also try cups of tea, chocolate and chai.

This year you can travel to 4 unique destinations – The Oasis, The Orient, The Latin Quarter and The Continent. Each region showcases different stalls and roasters, as well as free entertainment.

Explore the Middle East at The Oasis. Located at Hickson Road Reserve, you can taste Turkish coffee and sweet treats as well as enjoy great entertainment including male and female belly dancing, Oakfield Ranch Camel Rides, Gelisim, Veli & Group Ti Li Li Li and Onur + Metin.

While travelling through the The Latin Quarter at First Fleet Park soak up the South American atmosphere while trying out Mayan green beans, Brazilian teas and chillies.

The Orient destination at Campbells Cove offers visitors Japanese coffees along with exotic herbal teas, chai and spices. Entertainment includes Soran Dance Troupe, Chai’s Music Ensemble and Taikoz.

Experience European style at The Continent. Travel along George Street and up to The Rocks Square and the forecourt of the Overseas Passenger Terminal and sample blends from France, Italy and Spain and sweet treats from Holland and Portugal. Tickle your auditory senses as well with the sounds of accordions in the square.
