Get along to the inaugural Earth Festival Sydney, Pyrmont Village. Appreciate and celebrate planet earth, connect with the community, have fun and take a look at the positive side of life. This new event is designed to promote love of the natural environment through the creative arts and entertainment.

The day will be action-packed with an outdoor cinema, music, circus, dance, art, wellbeing, theatre, kids stuff and earth prize.

Enjoy the sounds from 3 music theatres with artists including Kahn Brothers, OKA, Kerriane Cox, Abby Dobson, Saritah, Declan Kelly, The Sniffer Dogs, Gypsy Dub Sound System, Claude Hay and Amanda Baker. And on the Acoustic Stage, Miriam’s Song, The Real Mexico, Steve Kilbey, Kush Cabaret, Matt James, Three Quarter Hazel, Mahri Autumn, Steel, Skin & Wood and Zoe Harker.

Or if you love dance, then watch the amazing Brazilian troupe, indigenous dance, capoeira, African dance, salsa, belly dance, primal dance, energy dance and spirited dance.

Check out The Living Orb. New to Australia, Orb1 is a giant dome and will feature custom-made nature and science films. Orb2 completely surrounds you with sound and vision, creating an illusion of amazing scale and impossible perspective. Experience flying and floating through virtual environments during these 20 minute shows. Make sure to book early as capacity is limited.

Watch the Zip Circus High Wire Trapeze or book a class and try it out for yourself. Also, experience in rhythm drumming, yoga, creativity, movement meditation, kung fu, dig workshop, body ecology, massage and Carmella’s musical meditation.

Visit The Chai Temple and enjoy Kabala Chanting & Kirtan, Slam Poetry, Govinda Valley Kirtan, Le Carnaval Spirtuel, Zatar, Rhythm Hunters, Vanessa Forbes and Devimara.

Watch a movie on the giant outdoor screen including Blue Planet, Happy Feet, Baraka, Life of Plants and What About Me.

And while at the Festival enjoy organic, natural and healthy foods and a refreshing beverage at the Barefoot Radler Chill-Out Bar or the Banrock Station Art Bar. This is a fully licensed event so there is NO BYO.
