Manly Fair Trade Markets 2011

world fair trade day logo Manly Fair Trade Markets 2011The Fair Trade markets at Manly will be held twice again this year. Make sure you head on over and check out the wide range of “fairly traded” products, including handicrafts, clothes, bags, blankets, coffee, tea and chocolate!

There are a wide range of Fair Trade stalls participating in the markets, selling a huge variety of hight quality handmade Fair Trade products from around the world ranging from jewellery to clothing, accessories, toys, chocolate and sports balls.

Plus, adding to the fun of the markets there is free entertainment all day.

The Fair Trade markets this year are being held on:

Saturday, 7 May from 9.00 am – 4.00 pm
Manly Council Forecourt Manly
(opposite Manly Wharf)

Sunday, 4 December from 9.00am – 4.00pm
Manly Council Forecourt Manly
(opposite Manly Wharf)

These are the largest Fair Trade markets currently being held in New South Wales.

In September 2008, Manly Council officially received Fair Trade Accreditation from the Fair Trade Association of Australia & New Zealand (FTAANZ) making Manly NSW’s first Fair Trade Community!
