Pyrmont Art Festival winner takes out Environmental Art Prize
We are pleased to report that the winner of the Pyrmont Village sponsored prize at the Pyrmont Art Festival, Amanda Seddon, has also scooped up the recent Environmental Art Prize. Her winning work “FreeTurtle soup”, is a mixed media piece, using acrylics & recycled wrapping paper on Recycled board.
Amanda is achieving impressive results, having also won the Ethical Art Prize in May with her large scale, charcoal drawing entitled “Breathe.” Two of her works have also been chosen as finalists in the Waverley Art prize this month.
So if you wish to check out her work, she will be holding an exhibition at the TAP Gallery soon. The exhibition will feature her wide and varied pieces and include paintings, photography, sculptures, digital art works and drawings to inspre you. All of the profits from the exhibition will be donated to the Randwick Children’s Hospital. We will keep you posted on the date of the exhibition. We here at Pyrmont Village are very happy to see that Amanda is doing astoundingly well in the Sydney art scene.
