Head across from Pyrmont to the funky 2008 Newtown Festival this Sunday. Now in it’s 30th year, this event is going to be a fun birthday bash!

There will be:

• 6 stages with over 60 bands and other acts
• Newtown Writer’s Tent
• Eco events - Planet Ark Park, The Watershed, The Bower
• 280 stalls - food, handmade and artist crafts, fairtrade
• Kidszone Dreamland
• Newtown Dog show
• Street theatre and art spaces - Newtown Performance Poets
• Licensed Bars

The Newtown Festival is a fundraiser for the services the Newtown Neighbourhood Centre provides to the homeless in the community, so remember to donate money to the coin collectors at the entry gates.
