Pyrmont Event: National Tree Day – Sunday, 27 July
National Tree Day is Australia’s biggest community tree-planting event and a day for all Australians to help out by planting native trees and shrubs at a Tree Day site in their local area. So come on Pyrmont Village, join in to help save and enhance our environment for future generations. Amongst all the other nice events that make pyrmont village a nice place to live, this one is brilliant as in some small way you are contributing to the preservation of the planet.
Tree Day sites where you can volunteer which are close by Pyrmont include:
- Sydney Park, St Peters/Alexandria: 11:00am to 1:30pm
- Wigram Lane, Glebe: 11:00am to 1:00pm
- Federal Park, Annandale: 10:00am to 1:00pm
Make sure to bring along appropriate clothing (long sleeved shirt and long sleeved pants), gloves as well as sunscreen and water.
