The lecture by David Marr is presented by Sydney Ideas and Gleebooks.

Marr wrote “The Henson Case” and will reveal the full story behind why the photos were removed and the people who were involved. “The Henson Case” provides a thorough examination of the censorship debate and includes exclusive interviews with Bill Henson, campaigners against child abuse, key figures in the arts world in Australia and members of the NSW police.

David Marr is author of award winning biography “Patrick White: A Life” and “Dark Victory” and a journalist. He was previously a reporter on Four Corners, a presenter on the Arts Today program by Radio National and hosted ABC Media Watch.
