Had some expensive German knives sharpened and now ruined - these guys are amateurs, but should have known better as they seemed too cheap. If anyones interested found a good service in Camperdown (chef and Cook, behind ray's outdoors ) and Rosebery ( leigh Hudson on Botany rd).
loved the truffles though!

Jo Unfortunately you are not the only one that has had "issues" with the knife sharpening service there. Fairfax events runs the markets, and they should deal with such matters.

Be careful of the knife sharpening place. We just got home with our bundle of sharpened knives and opened them to find that our favourite global vege knife was gone, replaced by another global serated knife - and the other knives we had done looked like they were half almost new set and half someone else's older set!!!
