For those of you who in Pyrmont who love photography as much as I do, go along and check out The Nikon-Walkley Press Awards at the Australian Centre for Photography in Paddington.

Regarded as the most prestigious and comprehensive competition in Australia for press photographers, the event this year showcases over 90 works from the best photojournalists.

First started in 1969, recipients are selected by an independent board including photographers and journalists who recognise creativity, impact, originality and technical superiority in news photography.
