Sugaroom restaurant, bar & lounge is located at the end of Harris Street, on the water’s edge of Johnston Bay. The restaurant boasts floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open out onto an outdoor dining looking across the harbour to Balmain.

This stylish restaurant/lounge offers modern Australian cuisine at neighbourhood prices. Entrees are $15, including pan fried squid and chirozo salad with rocket and romesco sauce and mains start at $28 – consider pan roasted barramundi, peas, baby leeks, tarragon and truffle dressing. Desserts are $15, try the Drunken blueberry triffle with marscarpone and panettone.
