What Happens After Dark Pyrmont? Check out this Art Event
Check out this art exhibition Pyrmont people and see what happens AFTER DARK. This event showcases interpretations by a group of established and emerging artists of what happens when the sun goes down and the lights go out. The interpretations are as varied as the mediums used including illustration, painting, sculpture and photography.
Artist Graham Brown showcases an abstract on world maps; Elise Garreau presents MOI, an interpretation of an exaggerated expression of what women should look like After Dark and draws on her influences from 5 distinct fashion styles; Michelle Ho captures the energy and performances from Sydney’s music venues and outdoor events; Deborah Jamieson gives us an insight into her personal journey from her youth in the pursuit of truth After Dark by removing the mask worn during day to reveal an inner self; Sandra Krumins explores the themes of hope, renewal and new beginnings from the Spring that follows Winter; and Natalie Sharp’s colourful and playful characters take a midnight journey into the underground of sound and sight.
